Ribeyes, lamb chops, cabrito, wine or beer

Hardcore Old Testament Christians would get a lot farther by emphasizing some of the do's instead of so many don'ts.

"Lord, for these cereal grains and hops, may we be truly grateful."

You forgot the locust, crickets, and grasshoppers, yummy!

You got to get a good scald on them crickets, I hear.

Excuse me Bible scholar...there were no Christians in the Old Testament. Christians might accept the Old Testament, but they're products of the New Testament.

so other than being factually inaccurate, at least your heart is in the right place--which is also New Testament.

Oh, for cryin' out --

I mean Christians who remain so mired in the jots and tittles of the Law that they can't see the Jesus in front of their face -- specifically those who mistake the holiness-purity codes as having anything to do with morality, and to a finer point, those who zero in on the man-lying-with-man snippets to the exclusion of all others. Oh, and ironically, they're the ones who ignore all instructions regarding idolatry, as evidenced by their elevation of the Bible, as we know it, to the status of the Word of God.
