If Dick Cheney was in charge of fighting the Ku Klux Klan, the Southern states would still be occupied territories and vassals of the Union -- STFU!

Sorry, what we are fighting, in terrorism, is not a GD war. Treating it like a war is stoopid. Treat it like a disease! Treat it like a disease! And killing everybody who carries a disease is not the way to treat a disease.

Not in a free (more or less) society, anyway!

Your great man has done lots of talking and tv appearing, but he may be finding out that he can't talk us into world peace. This world is dominated by satan and until people discover the True Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ; what is going on with politics is just throwing punches in the air, however there is going to be pain to bear.

Talking about peace is a hell of a lot more likely to encourage peace than talking about war.

As for satan: If you've surrendered this world to satan, and are just waiting around for the sweet by-and-by, and you've got your list of things to believe with all the right things checked, expecting to get a pat on the back for believing them -- then you're one of satan's minions and don't even know it. Either talk about peace, work for peace, work to advance Christ's kingdom rather than sitting around and tearing down, or get the hell out of the way.

Oh, and I never said the president was "great." I'm still thrilled that he's not George W. Bush -- and that's great enough.

All that spewing you just now did about peace, while swearing and showing NO peace yourself. Reread your posts and think about your own attitude. You have NO real peace or you could dialog without the hateful, angry rhetoric.

Nyah, nyah, nyah nyay nyah.

Piffle. Here's a suggestion: Don't come in here spewing yourself, and you won't get any spew back on ya.

There's no hate here. It's disgust.

And there's no anger. It's indignation.

Rather amusing for someone to complain that the President is only talking, which is apparently worthless, but then at the same time suggest that nothing can be done anyway.

I hope that Ms. Anonymous will make a New Year's resolution to write somewhat less stupid comments in the new year.

Anyway, I'll take talking about peace over the Shrub's "Bring it on" rhetoric any day.

Ah, the intellectual and moral incoherence of the Truly Chosen. Life was so much better when they refused to enter public controversy because . . . the world was Satan's.
