A note from Michael Moore ... via Bro. Neil!

... for you on yer way to church tomorrow. (HT to Brother Neil, without whom I wouldn't know about a lot of good, interesting lefty things! Yay for Brother Neil!)

Would Jesus be a capitalist?

Well, no, obviously -- at least not as capitalism is playing out in this country.

Let's see...sell all and give it to the poor....a rich man...eye of the needle...no I think not a capitalist....money changers temple....drop what you are doing and follow me... forsake your father and mother...

And now we have "C" Street and "The Family" chosen by God to be the Capitalist for Christ and as a member one of our own Senators laundering money for another chosen man. Since 1968 we have been sucking the marrow out of the bones of America... Capitalist cannibalism.

God help Obama! We seem to expect him to clean up all of our doodoo from the last five decades or so. Talk about muck rakers. Say didn't Teddy Roosevelt get one of those promisary Noble Peace Prizes too?
Bully!

I think it is perfectly appropriate, and in tune with history, that President Obama joined President Wilson and President T. Roosevelt as recipients of the Nobel Prize. Dreamers, all! Visionaries! Yet Wilson failed, yet Roosevelt eventually failed.

The dream, the vision is the thing!

TR fail? Not at all, consider: Panaman Canal, FDA, National Parks, FTC, etc. etc.

Roosevelt was awarded the prize for negotiating an end to the Russo-Japanese war of 1904-1905, a very specific act. Hardly a failure.

Yes, to all, DrLobo and GKS. But he eventually failed in his comeback attempt, is all I was thinking of.
