In the beginning were the words -- words and words and words! (Woo hoo!)
On my way. Enrolled in seminary!
I've got one class in person in Tulsa at 8:30 a.m. Tuesdays, and one class online -- get this, taught by a prof who taught the intro to New Testament survey course I took at Oklahoma State TWENTY-FOUR YEARS AGO.
I don't think my online seminarian buddy Luke is even that old! :-)

Sure. My first one evah. I'd prefer not to, but it beats what I thought I was gonna have to do, which was get up at 5, be on the road by 6, there by 8, class out at 11:15, then stuck, then class at 6 and not out until 9, which me back home at 11 p.m. P.U.
Glad to hear you don't have to stay all day!
And I mostly liked the online classes for my MLIS (about half the courses). Grad students are generally fairly focused and willing to work, so the participation rates were high and group-work fairly painless.
Would be surprised if you have nearly as much of the latter, though, since the point was that we'd be doing lots of committee and group work once in the profession so better get used to it soon.
