House Repubs hang together

Good. That'll make it easier to hang them together.

Great, think of all the projects in the Democrat House districts that will have almost twice as much money that otherwise would have to have gone to the Republican districts. Of course Oklahoma will suck wind, having only one Democrat in the House.

I struggle to comprehend the GD ignorance of the Repubs! LOL. They're WHIGS now.

I think that Pres. Obama is just baiting them to reel them in in the future. While they are back slapping and glad handing over this, he is thinking of his next move, I guarantee that Mr. Obama saw this vote coming and plans on using it against them.

Esp. if he apponts that Rep. Senator from NH and gets a Democratic pick up from the Gov. THEN the Repubs will be locked out of power.. totally.

As I watch Obama, I am reminded that the West Wing producers based the character played by Jimmy Smit on him, and the Rom Emanuel was the model for the character that recruited Smit to run for the Presidency. Now is this art imitating life or life imitating art. Do you reckon the dullard GOP members never watched The West Wing. I mean there was a show was there not, with a plot paralleling this last week in congress? Gee, I wonder what Obama will do next?

Oopsie! Say something significant, Anon. No mood for stupid name-callin' just now.

Is this the WW?

"A disastrous fiscal crisis looms when the federal government is shut down after the President and the powerful Republican Speaker of the House disagree over an extra two percent in budget reductions that would trim many of Bartlet's key social programs. Opinion polls reveal that the public blames the Democrats for the impasse. As Leo, Josh and Toby send the staff home, the trio remains uneasy as the President refuses to compromise--until he hatches a bold plan to personally and publicly challenge the Republicans in the halls of the Capitol. Meanwhile, Abbey suddenly reappears from her self-imposed exile for a State dinner that she might have to cook herself."
