Hey, hey, hey, what's up, y'all? Hey, hey!

Hey, hey, hey! Hi, y'all! Hey, hey, hey! My Dampa ER is busy, busy, busy today at work! Busy, busy, busy! So he and my Dama Dr. ER can take off tomorrow for Colorado! Hey, hey, hey! Look at me! Hey, hey, hey! Dampa ER said I could blog for him today! Hey, hey, hey! SO what do y'all want to talk about? Huh? Huh? Huh? Hey, hey, hey! Somebody pet me dang it.

Comments:
ER! We're thinking of which breed to get for our "insided dog" - we have other dogs on the farm, but they're too big to wash all the time (farm dogs stink!, after rolling around in and eating all the disgusting things cows excrete.
From your picture it looks like Fenway is a Boston Terrier, and that's my first choice. Is he a BT? And are you happy with his temperament?
I've just discovered this breed, but realize that this type of dog is "as American as apple pie" (read that somewhere) Now I see Boston Terriers everywhere!
Kind of like the time in my early twenties I thought I had "discovered" Ella Fitzgerald...

Hey, hey, hey! My mommy, Bird -- hey, hey! That's Dampa ER's stepgal -- says I am a wonderful indoor dog! My step-brother, Apollo, and I both live indoors near Houston. Hey, hey!

And yep, we're BT's! Hey, hey, hey! Smooch! Wiggle! Hey, hey! PET ME!

Great Fenway, thanks! And what a cute dog you are!

Hey, hey, hey! That's what they tell me! Thanks, thanks, thanks!!!

Ooooo hi there Fenway!! How are you? *pets pets pets lots and lots of pets* *scritch behind the ears* Where is Apollo? What's that Fenway? You say Apollo's in a well? Oh no! Get Lassie!!

Oh. You were just teasing. Funny puppy!

Hi Fenway! Fifteen minutes of ear scratches for you, just for being so darn cute!

Cute?!? CUTE?!!? Are we looking at the same picture?

That's funny Geoffrey! Since telling the whole family that a BT is the dog I want next, half think it's a cute dog, the other half thinks it's a hideous breed and can never love a dog like that (which will change as soon as they see him/her).
But let this video convince you:

*Snuggle snuggle snuggle* Thanks, thanks, thanks! Wiggle, wiggle, Wiggle!

Thanks, Trixie! Thanks, Kirsten!

(Farting in Geoffrey's general direction!)

So Fenway is French (why else would he have that outrageous accent?).

See an upcoming post for a further discussion of personal preference in re dogs.

A dog's dampa?
That's like claiming Junior the Bear is the Grand Bear.
Sad!

Actually, drlobojo, "dampa" sounds more like what a dog does after eating bad table scraps . . .

How does "dampa" point to being French? I'd love to know, seeing as the "gr" would not disappear if he were, but only become fully uvular.
The name Fenway can't be your clue, as it 's not a French name - although you do say "le tramway" - but that's an anglicism.
Fenway must be an anglophone doggy who has not yet discovered the back of his throat, and likes all the labial and lingual sounds.

The reference is to Fenway's "farting" comment, which comes from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. King Arthur and his kaniggits come upon a castle inhabited by the French who taunt them with silly insults, including "I fart in your general direction" and "Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberrys". When asked if they were French, the lead French guard says, "Of course we are French. Why else would we have these outrageous accents? Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time."

I thought everyone knew that movie by heart . . . Fenway certainly does.

That's too funny! Thanks for explaining.

Hey, hey, hey! I know one line from that movie! Hey, hey, hey! My daddy, YankeeBeau, named me for some baseball place! Hey ... hey (yawn) Seepy time. You guys have been wicked fun! 'Night!

(Uh oh. I think I'm in trouble for blogging without my mommy or daddy's permission. I hope not! I hope ER doesn't get in trouble for letting me!)

Shhhh Fenway. We won't tell if you don't spill the beans. Sleep tight little pup.

I caught him! And yes, BTs are fabulous indoor dogs, although I recommend not feeding them people food 'cause they have sensitive tummys for the most part. They are very snuggly and easy to train! And BTs are the CUTEST dogs on earth.

Thanks Bird, I see this all as a sign, so no one else in the family can argue!

So, over 20 comments now for Fenway in a relatively short time. Good boy, Fenway! You're helping people waste their time! Good boy!!

Now: You wanna go outside? Do y'wanna? Outside? Huh, boy, you wanna go outside??

Out to the street, Fenway, go out to the street!

Drlobojo, that's just funny-mean!

Out to the street. . .
