Starbick, Starback, Starbucked

Gasp! The ER's are losing TWO Starbucks!

Dr. ER is VNFSL -- venti non-fat, one-Splenda latte.

I'm quad venti mocha.

One survivor in our town -- over by the college. Of course. Thank God.

Here's the Starbucks Death List.

Whew! Dodged that bullet!

I mean, there are only 3 within about 5 blocks of the Chemistry building (not to mention the 4 or 5 other good coffee shops w/in the same distance.)

I feel your pain.

Portland is losing five, including the one (20th & Division) that had had a molotov cocktail tossed into it prior to opening. That's how happy the neighbors were to see it, and now it's goin'.

Thing is, none of the goners are downtown, where there's several examples of that one-literally-on-every-corner thing.

There's so many of the things on Northwest Expressway, I was sure one of 'em would get the axe. But not so.

Am just glad our one local store wasn't on the chopping block. It's the only coffee shop in town with good enough lighting to read by. Of course, I'm only talking about a total of two places. ;-)

I noticed the one by yer office was going, going....

So is the one they just built here. Literally opened about 6 months ago. I'm not surprised -- we don't have the population. They'll apparently keep the kiosk inside the grocery store across the street.

2 Starbucks here in WF one at corner of Kemp andkell and other on Maurine right off of Freeway coming into town ... both NOT on the list so my Triple Venti Honey Frapps are safe for the time being

Whew! Dr. ER's mama is a regular at the one at Kemp and Kell.

Oh darn, that list actually makes sense. I was starting the rumor that the one across the street from the office was getting the axe because of the no-longer-Sonics basketball brouhaha. Take that Clay Bennett!

I'm surprised the one at Memorial and May is closing, because that's such a bizzy location. But then there's the onein the Target, so I guess they're still covered.
