Poor sick baby! I hope Eames gets well soon.

eames will probably be fine.. cats go through this from time to time as you know... visit to the doc is the thing to do... keep us posted... mr bbs

Re, "cats go through this from time to time as you know ..."

No! Actually, we don't know! We're not cat people.

But we're gettin' there. ... Sigh.

Yeah, they do this when they're working on a hair-ball. (At least ours do.) They'll hurl several times before finally getting rid of the hair-ball, then they're fine.

A little cat nip sprinkled on their food from time to time may help, as does regular brushing. If nothing else, at least the cat nip makes them fun to watch. :)

ooops!!! I forgot, you're NOT cat people. Keep telling yourself that. mr bbs

I hope she feels better soon! (Maybe Ice-T gives her a nervous stomach?) If it's hairballs that's her problem, try Petromalt. It worked for my sister's long-haired cat, and the cat LOVED it!

Twix doesn't have any hairball issues. I don't know if she's just lucky or it's the Science Diet dry food she eats. It says it helps prevent hairballs on the label. Now if I can just get it to help with the "fur-bunnies" I find floating along the floor.... :)

Well, she got a shot and some special feed. Amd Dr. ER got a real good slash across her chest as Eamesy was deciding that she did NOT like havin' her temperature taken. :-)

She -- Eames -- has bene resting comfortably ever since.

Can't say that I blame Eames one bit! Unfortunate that Dr. ER was within striking range though. I hope they're both doing better. :)

Considering where dective cat came from, have you checked her for tape worm.
Look up proceedure on the web. Tapeworm=cat shits egg cells=cells eaten by flea lava=stays in flea=flea is eaten by cat= cat has tapeworm=cat shits tapeworm egg cells etc.
It will spread to the other cat and may involve your dogs and their fleas as well. Our wet summers will contribute to the spread of such. So you may have to treat everybody at the same time to break the cycle if that turns out to be it.

Gad. This is why livestock should live outdoors.

*Gasp* You think it'd be any better to have all that happen outdoors? You'd still have to treat everybody. ;)

Well, I wouldn't have had to clean up cat barf last weekend!
