Scream room

That's a workplace perk I'd like to see: a scream room. So, every hour or so, after I've bitten my lip, swallowed my impatience, sat on my anger and frustration and flirted with a mini-stroke or chest pains -- because NOTHING works the way it's supposed to! -- I could stomp into the scream room, let 'er rip, then calmly stroll back to my desk for another hour of bullshit.

Somebody form a committee.

Man, this a great idea! I need one of those. And the room needs something in there that you can kick, hit and stomp.

I used to work at a big restraunt and we had a couple of walk in freezers. A great scream room. Shut the door on that puppy and yell/cuss all you wanted to. Sure felt good to get it out of your system. Good for you and the folks you work with..... mr bbs

Am not so sure that a library with a scream room would be a good idea. ;-)

However, a nice brisk lap or two around campus will usually do the trick for me.

Hope your day gets better, ER.

The day is OK. It's software and hardware, and glitches and hang-ups. Makes. Me. Nuts.

They shoulda never come out with solid-state Zeniths when i was a kid. Microwave ovens and such.

I want to take every hourglass and dialog box down to Burns Flat and put 'em all on the first rocket out of here!

Oh, Tech.

I don't think a scream room would work as relief from dealing with PEOPLE. :-)

Make it a scream SUITE. :-)

Oh, about Burns Flat:

Hey, if they can have a nursing room (and they do), they can do a scream room. The track also works effectively.

Good idea ER,

I mean, they have prayer rooms - why not scream rooms. At least it is a room I could make use of.

PS
Is the best ever thread dead now?

Billy has replied to you at my place.

Howdy, Lee.

Best Thread Ever is not dead! Just takes brains to work it, and I've had to spend most of my brains at work yesterday -- 12 hours, with a few breaks, to eat and answer nature's call, yes, yes, in my recliner, but still mentally exhausting for the tedium!

I'll probably dig in later; if not, tomorrow. :-)

Oh, and sometimes a prayer room would be fine for screaming, and vice versa.

Not sure those that are praying to Mecca or whateve would be happy with my screaming at the top of my voice - it could put them off I would have thought.

Maybe if I said I was screaming (praying) to the gods of Heavy Metal or something I might get away with it

Scream room?

I thought that's what this was...

It *is* sometimes!
