Poor titty tat

Poor Eames didn't take too kindly to gettin' her front feets declawed, and had to become a conehead!

Pic by Bird via cellphone, at the clinic where Eames will remain incarcerated until Dr. ER can retrieve her. First, Dr. ER has to go to ^*$%^ Hawaii for work! :-(

So what are you going to do about the back claws? Our front declawed cat learned to climb using back claws and now I have the lovely task of fitting and refitting each back claw with the kitty fake nails they call "Soft Paws".
Nonetheless, this cat figures out new ways to scratch the furniture. Chews on it too.

Well, Ice-T has his hind claws and hasn't torn up anything. Hope Eames is the same!

Barbarian!
Baast will visit you in your dreams tonight!

Aw, poor puddy.

Say, so long as you are wacking off his toes. Save the claws, they make excellent Juju fetishes.

LOL, and ... ewwww.

Make her feel better... call her Queen Victoria. :-)

Twix still has her back claws and has managed to scratch some wood furniture, but she's getting better at not. Clipping her back nails helped, too. As my sister says, "What do you expect when you invite a carnivore to live with you??"

My vet asked if we wanted the back declawed, too. I didn't know you could do the back, but I let her keep those -- at least for now. :)

Both our cats are front declawed (and before anyone starts shouting about animal cruelty and that we cut off the tips of their little fingers, we didn't do it. They *came* that way.) and it has been great. It really does make living with them much more pleasant, as it's clear they'd be scratchers if they had claws (they still do the little "sharpen front claws" behavior anyway, but that's just because they're morons.)

Ha! Ice-T is moronic that way, too. :-)
