I was there when he was happenin'

20-plus years ago!

Thurman Thomas does Tailback U proud.

And: Happy birthday to me. I'm 44 &*$#@^&! years young. Sh-t. Gift to myself: A drive to Stillwater to watch my 32-11 Oklahoma State baseball Cowboys start to close out a great season against Utah Valley.

Maybe, ahem, a side stop of Willie's, and George's, two old friends of mine. :-) I still have a fancy rocks glass I swiped from Willie's a generation ago. :-)

Happy Birthday!

Happy birthday, my friend. And may you have many more!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

What a great way to spend your birthday! Hope the game's a good one.

Glad to hear those tornadoes left you alone, too.

Happy birthday. Hope both the day and the game are good ones.

44, you are not even close to the top of the hill yet. Enjoy your day.

Happy birthday... mr bbs

Thanks, y'all.

Um, GO SEE "IRON MAN." Wonderfully updated and adapted to current events. Tony Stark's alcoholism reduced to a kind of 007 -liquor-as-a-prop thing, and his self-destructive tendencies reduced to playful recklessness.

And, OMG, Gwyneth (sp?) Paltrow is HOT as a redhead. Oh, and Jeff Bridges does bal-headed eeevill right.

Yep. Manitee. I loves me some Iron man. My first favorite -- and still -- comic book superhero. :-)

Off to Stillwater. Adios.

Just saw it today. I couldn't agree more on all counts. Should be a mega-blockbuster. It was a nice balance of action, humor, and characters.
I really enjoyed GP's role, and love a balanced lead actress in these type of movies- rather than the "duck, Magnum, duck!" roles.
(A funny thing: the Urdu spoken didn't match the subtitles very well in many places. Can't say much about the Arabic or Hungarian.)

Many Happy Returns of the Day

Thanks, Doc.

U make 2 peeps who hang here who know urdu. How weird is that?
