Was it somethin' I said?
Well, each for his own unstated reasons, two of my most loyal and regular commenters have gone on hiati -- Geoffrey and DrLoboJo!
I am countin' on the rest of y'all to step up! Elsewise, I'll get all lonesome and stuff. And I'll try to be more reliable bloggy buddy at y'allses' places, too. :-)
Now: Off with Dr. ER, who, since yesterday morning, has been laid low by her own version of the crud I brought up here; she has mustered the energy to do a little shopping and to dine this evening.

Important thoughts. Well-wrought thoughts. Deep thoughts.
Wise-cracked thoughts.
How's that? I don't think it has the same ring coming from me...

DCup: Yay! I like you, gal! :-) Don't know what to say 'bout yer situation, so I've said nothing; but, if yer happy, I'm happy. :-)
Dan: Yer thoughts, well-wrought, important, non, or any form of cracked, are always welcome. :-) Speaking of Dans, Dan, note the recent addition to what I'm reading (to the side), by Dan Merchant. Seems pretty dang open-minded and interesting so far, for something from Thomas Nelson.

I'm not feeling overly talky.
Went to kung Fu class, had me some gloriously fun violence with another second-degree black sash (per my blog), had a beer in the hot tub.but still can't sleep.
Should be sleepy.
Grump.

Teresa, you may be the only person involved with martial arts that I have ever been acquainted with who isn't a right-wing, self-important, puffed-up punk. But then, yer the only one that's a girl. Hmmm. ...
Trixie! I don't want to go back to work. You go for me, 'k?

Our SiFu keeps saying he's a Republican...but it's sort of like the Princess Bride.
He'll insist he's a Republican, ad then give some liberal opinion on something.
I say...you keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. :)
most of the people in my school are left-of-center.

Then again, I live in Minnesota.
Most of the STATE is just slightly left-of center.
Our Democrats are a little to the right of the Democrats in national politics (tend to be mostly anti-gun-control, that sort of thing) and our Republicans tend to be far left of the rank-and-file of the national party.
Unfortunatly, that has beeen changing recently.

Garrison Keillor is who I think of when I think of Minnesota Democrats. And, God rest him, Paul Wellstone. I got a Dem-Farmer-Labor streak.
I still mourn for Paul Wellstone.
I didn't agree with everything he did/said as a Senator for our state, but I remember the time I met him in person. His heart was just right out there in front for everyone to see, and his mind was just as great.
I remember looking down at him as he shook my hand and thinking "That's the biggest little man I'll ever meet."
:-)
I liked that he was warm, compassionate, and thoughtful..but the way he walked and stood, you could see that he was still a wrestler...still had warrior instincts. I liked that.

Well, obviously other bloggers have stepped in to fill the lonely places in your soul now that the good doctor and Greg aren't visiting. Still, I thought I'd stop by and wave.

Well, not quite back. Sittin' here watchin' "Revenge of the Sith" with Dr. ER. Back in the work saddle on Wednesday. :-) But thanks.
I thought you were on holidays...And it's end of semester with whiny, stressed students fearing the final exam!
Plus baby daughter and ever-present unfinished thesis.
