Furry friends a fix for Friday frenzy

Man, Fridays are a lot harder and more involved for me than they used to be, for some reason. And Bird knows how to rub it in! She sent me this pic by phone just now from a Houston suburb where she's living with YB. Made me smile.

"What the boys and I are doing," she wrote. :-) That'd be Fenway and Apollo, my granddogs! But I can't tell 'em apart from here!

That's the cutest damn picture! What'd top it off would be if she were on skates and they were pulling her. I used to do that with my dog (sniff!)

Apollo is on the left and Fenway is on the right. The doggies say that Dampa ER should be able to tell them apart after 2 years :)

Geez, ER, Fenway has more white on his neck, everyone knows that. Sheesh. LOL

I was about to say that a grandpa should be able to tell them apart, but I see "the boys" have already put Grandpa in his place. ;)

Love the matching sweaters, Bird!

(Hanging head in shame)

Ar those two poor pooches pulling a carriage? Don't make me call the S.P.C.A.

More likely a wagon train or dog sled.

They're just bein' walked! :-)

Are Boston Terriers? Not a big fan of terriers - or small dogs in general - but I've always thought they were kind of cute (unlike Corgi's which I still don't like; Daschunds are OK).

Do I understand the Dr. Mrs. is in town this weekend? Take care.

Cute little critters, Bird. Afriend of mine to lived to be 94 had one that was 15 years old when the woman died. The Terrier lasted one day past the funeral, and died in her sleep.
It is amazing that these dogs were bred down originally from the Middle Eastern feral Cannaan dog, and were bred to kill one another in the dog pits. (Smaller pit dogs could be tucked under the coats of the prep's and hidden from the Boston police when the fighting pits were raided)
There a lesson of redemption here somewhere.
I wonder how many generations of wild breeding it would take to return the Boston Terrier to its Cannaan Dog looks? I bet it would take less than 10. Any info on that?

Wouldn't take but about one weekend of wild breedin' to take me back to my redneck ho' dog looks! (Snicker)
