Belated Valentine dining

Wow! This place rocks. But it is not for the faint of billfold.

Cascata Ristorante.

I'm a bit embarrassed that I, a professional observer and chronicler, had no clue how cool this place is -- and it's only about 2 miles away, and I drive back in forth in front of it EVERY DAY.

Sheesh.

Hey, I've heard of that place! My folks and some friends of theirs occasionally talk about doing the thing where you eat in the kitchen.

Plus, I brought home tonight's supper, and the last third of a bottle of red zin.

The building-architecture-interior-atmosphere-etc. was great, too.

Totally worth it, once in a great while. :-)

Been there, loved it. Definitely on the pricey side, but one of the coolest atmospheres around, and great food. Service has always been great there, too. Good choice!
