This is almost a lost art. Hopefully it will be some day.

LOL.

Next up: Playin' spoons!

I have friends in a band called "City Moon." It's a country band. One of the guys plays a saw. He has a special case for it and everything. He's a little more skilled than the guy in this clip though. This man plays a little "sharp." (I crack me up, but it's true.)

It's almost like music.

That's the cutting-edge of entertainment right there.

As I ventured through less than half of it, I was thinking, "There must be an audience for it somewhere, and it's likely in parts of Missouri. But it ain't this part."

It's definitely a slice of special livin'. I wood venture a bet that this feller also has the ability to cut a rug. And a 2-by-4.

I have friends that play the saw, too. Lots of other interesting "instruments" too. It's fun to go to their house and see them all. :)

Happy Valentine's Day!

That's just positivly adorable! That little old guy is such a cutie!

As a child who was dragged by her parents into a little ols "community orchestra" (a bunch of people meeting in an essentially abandoned country school-house with whatever instruments they could scrape together - regardless of compatability) I have to say...these are my peeps too!

(I played the cello...but sometimes the drums when they needed me to)

We had no saws. at least, no musical ones...but they would have been welcomed if anyone had showed up with one.

That's great, have to show my son!

Shoot, y'all, their duds are worth the price of admission! :-)
