There better be a surrey with a fringe on top!

Are chicks, ducks, and geese gonna scurry? Are we gonna find out how far Kansas City has gone? Is it a beautiful day, with everything going your way?
I'm just asking . . .
I'm just asking . . .
It was a lovely Oklahoma fall day, with storms threatening but kindly tarrying, and it was a great parade. I'm watching it on TV right now. Total Oklahoma parade. Ha! Ty England is singin' about bein' a redneck son-of-a-gun.
Even with no surrey with a fringe on top! (But there was in the mural across from where I was camped. Which I got a pic of, along with about 150 more, the best of wish I'll post after I get my own centennial-related work done. Mabye Wednesday. :-)

I had to head home before this, but I did get to go through the cornfield maze, an officially sanctioned Centennial event, documented over on my blog. It was good to "meet" you virtually during my stay and learn new things about the state. I enjoyed playing a bit of a tourist on this trip instead of my usual business only visits. I'll try to make that a trend during future trips.
Oh, I'll answer to just about anything (my real name's Gregg), but Junk, Mr. Thief, JT are all cool. Some of my blogroll gang call me "Junkie", but that sounds a little too...well, I think you know what.
I thought the parade was cool. I certainly enjoyed seeing Shawntel and the other Miss Americas. I especially enjoyed the large balloons and the OSU band.
Don't tell anybody, but I even thought seeing the ou band was cool. I stood on about four square feet of space on a street downtown, though, for three and a half hours. My calves are screaming.
