I don't mean to burst your bubble, ER, but Ron Paul is a tin-foil-hat-wearing, CFR-conspiracy-mongering loony.
Yeah, he hates the war in Iraq, but only because he believes it is part of the Trilateral Commission's plan to take over the world. He is Pat Buchanan in better suits.

Paul is a nearly classic libertarian. Libertarians are good allies in struggles for civil liberties and they generally dislike military adventures and believe the military should be only large enough for DEFENSE of the homeland. Good.
But when you get to economic policies, they are absolute fruitcakes.
