Oklahoma Centennial Parade, Oct. 14, 2007

Photos by ER. This is one of my favorite shots: The Oklahoma State University Rodeo Club. It just *hollers* "Oklahoma!" Note that Jesus is Lord of the horse! --ER

Comments:
Nice photos! Too bad the band wasn't playing as they went by, though.

Nice!

Who's the Johnny Cash look-a-like?

Ha! That's James "Bret Meverick" Garner, hisself. (Aka Jim Rockford). Grand marshal. He's from Norman, Okla. :-)

And thanks, Frenzied! Thanks Kirsten!

That horse with the Jesus harness dosen't look too happy about this.

Hey now. God reins. Ahem.

Ha!
Or how you laugh in French:
ah!ah!ah!

Sure wish I could have been there. But we had a centennial parade here too. I'll post my photos later. Not sure if they are here at home, or at work, or in my Photobucket account already. It was quite the parade for Smalltown America. Even better than Homecoming! (And we have another at Veterans' Day and I think one for Christmas. No doubt our Centennial float with the park bench on it will be part of those, too.)

Ha! Didn't even begin to recognize him--and he's a fav of mine! (I feel so ashamed!)
