ER still life: workin' at the kitchen table
It's probably a good thing that Dr. ER and Bird were nowhere around this weekend. Hoo boy. The house is a wreck, spreading out in waves from right here. This is a mere snippet of the wreckedness.

Looks like you have been working overtime for the "Man". Paying the price for the type of work you do.
Yep, I agree with Kirsten - brings back memories of making my kids eat at the counter when semester's last paper was due...
Well, I came into the office today I rold somebody I felt like I was coming off finals weeks: 11 hours Saturday, 5 hours Sunday (before the centennial parade), and 16 hours 16 hours yesterday. Eeep.
And right this minute, I am starting to deal with stuff that I normally try to have done by the end of day Fridays. Ooop.
Candles: I likes 'em on in the fall! Spicey, punkiny kinds.

It just looks like someone creative has been working. I always found that it takes a certain amount of clutter to produce anything significant.
Well, I don't see an ashed stogie in the pic, so Dr. ER can remain thankful for that.
'Got my punkin' (or as the little one calls them for some reason, "munkoots") candle burnin' right now. What a couple-o-fruitcakes.
