Didn't know there was a word for it: Bibliomancy

Look up "backslider" too.
There is a game called bibliomancer, in which you roll a dice in sequence to get a books (any book)page number, line number, word number, six or so times in a row. I forget how it is scored, but you would be amazed at how many reasonable sentences can be formed that way.
As you can see I have lived a boring life.

But that's just the French Dada period circa 20s (when sleep and drug induced "automatic writing" just wasn't enough any more!): you take any text, cut each word out individually, put them all into a paper bag, and shake.
Then take out the words one at a time, write them down in that order, or any order that visually pleases you, do not edit,
find a publisher.
And it's amazing, but you can find some sense in almost any dada poem, as noted above.
