La la la la la -- hands over ears -- la la la la la -- can't stand anymore -- la la la la la -- God, please damn this war -- la la la la la

I just saw where the rescue and recovery efforts in tornado-stricken Kansas are being hampered because the National Guard is in I--fricking-raq. God help us.

La la la la la -- hands over ears -- la la la la la -- can't stand anymore -- la la la la la -- God, please damn this war -- la la la la la ...

Must watch monkeys. Must watch monkeys. Must watch funny monkeys.

Comments:
The Oklahoma National Gaurd is ready to help Kansas any time...... oh wait, they are off training getting ready to Iraq.
May George W. Bush, Cheney, their families and minons, live a long long life and watch their honor, their reputation, and their souls shrivel under the inescapable bright light of truth shining 24/7/365 for eons on their greed, stupidity, and crimes.
Impeach and Dishonor these criminals, NOW.

Has a tornado ever hit the White House? And does D.C. have a National Guard unit?

It's called the Pentagon, but they're short-handed right now.

You know, it's one thing when the feds try to screw New York and California because they are Democratic states, but this is something else; they've managed to piss in their own bed on this one, making people in Kansas mad at them because of their dumbf---ery. Can this collection of nitwits accomplish anything other than total disaster?

I wouldn't underestimate the capacity of red-state Kansans to look reality dead in the eye and deny it.

La la la la la -- aren't those funny monkeys? -- la la la la la.

Trixie asked:
"Has a tornado ever hit the White House? And does D.C. have a National Guard unit?"

No, the White House has not been hit by a tornadoe. But it was burned down by Great Brittan once (1813).
Also it was eaten up by rot and termites so bad that Truman had to move out, gut it, and rebuild it, in the early 1950's.

D.C. does have a National Guard Unit. National Guard are State entities, except in D.C. where it reports directly to the President.

But they also have agreements with Maryland and when they need them The Maryland N.G. are there. Such as the big snow storm 10 years ago or so.

The Pentagon is actually not in D.C., it is across the river in Arlington, Virginia. Besides Posse Comitas would prevent their use in any civilian way. I wonder why it doesn't apply to the D.C. National Guard?

I don't know ER, but an EF-5 tornadoe might even change the minds of Red State Voters. I've been watching growm men cry on camera today because of Greensburg. We will see.

Rudy Gulliani said today that History will rmember George "W" as great. Please add Rudy to my curse above.

White House follow up to critizism of No Gaurd resource available:
"White House officials said that the Kansas National Guard had at its disposal in the Midwest and the Plains states, everything it needed. By Mr. Snow’s count, that included 83,000 National Guard soldiers; 99 bulldozers; 61 loaders; 246 dump trucks and 59 graders."

Now if Tony Snow (poor baby)had lost "his" cancer medications and had to wait two days for someone to dig him out of his celler to get relief do you think he would spewing such bullshit about resources available in "other states". They have no shame. They have no shame. They have no shame.
God damn them all they have no shame.

Do you remember when everybody was talking about how those pesky young people had no conscious, that when you looked into their eyes there was nothing there? The older versions of 'em are running the country.
