'A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual death'

Here's the greatest memorial to the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. during this month, Black History Month.

"A Time to Break Silence" (text, audio)

Dr. Robin Meyers, "A Prayer for the Those Who Will Die" (audio)

I am sure you will appreciate this one too.

"If the Estate Tax were to be repealed completely, the estimated savings to just one family -- the Walton family, the heirs to the Wal-Mart fortune -- would be about $32.7 billion dollars over the next ten years."
Finally read it.

Gave me reflux. God help me to hate stupidity but love the stupid!
You know the really rich should step back and think a bit on all this. If they want to stay rich and save the system that made them rich they are going to have to give back to it more than they are.
Interestingly giving back more won't impact their lifestyle or way of life at all to do so, but it will eventually have an enormous impact if they don't.
Pay me 3% now or everything later.
Regulation is the best friend the free market ever had.
