eep

Changing. Computer system ... at work ... change = different = BAD. One day of training done. One to go. ... *real work* piling up. .. Off work mid-October. ... Need. To. Work. Ahead. Not. Get. Behind. ... Dr. ER traveling this week. ER working late-late hours. ... Ice-T lonesome. ... Bailey and Riker hungry ... Mayday, mayday!

Comments:
Does your new computer system still have those vacum tubes?

Old. Farts. Hate. Change. ER's. The. Oldest. Fortysomething. I. Know.

The animals'll be fine. They'll eat the flowers before they go hungry. Or Ice-T. :-)

Don't blame it on age. E.R. still types like he's using a typewriter instead of a keyboard. And somehow I don't really think he's ever had to use a real typewriter in his work, because he's not that old!

But I learned to type on manual typewriters in ninth grade, which was 1978-1979. We had no computers in high school, 1979-1982. AND I used an electric typewriter in college, 1982-1988, except for working at the college paper, which did have those green monochrome screens.

So, I straddled the typewriting-keyboarding eras.

Good grief. Even *I* had electric typewriters in typing class in 1972. And I did work with manual typewriters at The Newspaper in 1976-78. With carbon paper, no less. But come on, pal. 30 years is a long time to keep hammering a keyboard as I've witnessed you do!

Trix, don't be so mean about the guy whose just usin' testerone to write. Men pound. It's just the aggressive nature of man.

Some women like that about us. :-)
