Shinin' up my red neck

Whoa. "Sling Blade" on TV this afternoon. Bristol night race on TV tonight. Grilling $36.49 cents worth of steaks (four ribeyes) for myself, Dr. ER, Bird and her YankeeBeau in between.

This calls for an ER summer rerun!

On Harvick! On Junior!

I do miss those muggy Southern nights. Bristol's one of my favorite races -- "where the track and the tempers are SHORT." Nice to see you're cheering for #29! I think I'm the only girl in Saskatchewan who'll admit to being a NASCAR fan. Have a great evening!

Becky, we've been to Texas, Kansas and Indy. We're talkin' about Texas again this fall. But Bristol and Talladega are tops on our want-to list!

Just don't understand the hero worship for the NASCAR people. Guess I just don't have the proper respect for the right kind of people.

"For kindergarten graduation in 1980, Kevin received a go-kart from his parents and began his storied racing career." Raised like sort of a southern fried machito Jon Benet Ramsey wasn't he.

Well my father, God rest his soul, loved rastlin and I never understood that neither.
