Love-hate relationship ...

Hey,
I'll go with you on your journey.
Since I started my "diet" in Jan.
I have gained 18 lbs. Up until
then I had maintained my weight
loss. That really sucks.

Whoa. I don't diet. What I do do at times is decide that I need to be careful about what I eat, and when, as a way to help improve my mood. And endorphins rock, hence my love-hate relationship with exercise.
No, um, not that I'm a girl or anything, but I'm off to buy shoes! Dillards has 'em half off and I need new dress shoes and not-so-dress shoes. This only happens about every three years. Me buying shoes, I mean. :-)
Then, I may or may not go to the Oklahoma History Center book store to get a book I fondled, but did not buy, at the Cowboy Hall of Fame book store yesterday. I can get 10 percent off at the history center. ... Or, I may see if the college liberry has it and save some money.
Thus did ER's blog devolve into the mundane affairs of everyday life.

This is an interesting convergence of events. It appears you and a certain conservative pastor are finally in the same boat. (And the boat is starting to tip a little bit.)

The ways of the Lord are mysterious, indeed.
And hey, if being cool is a "tool of Satan," as he avers in the post below that one, then I'm safe!
What a hoot, that certain conservative pastor is, what a hoot!

This blog reminds me of the movie, That's Life, with Jack Lemmon. At one point in his mid-life crisis he trys to bicycle himself to death on an exercise bike.
Here, let me fix that, Timothy:

D'jew readabout yer fav Dodson's love of the Mel today? Put out a press release basically saying that despite the DUI-spewing thang, Passion of the Christ is still the finest movie of the modern era and he stands behind it, despite the Mel, who prolly meant no harm as the movie twernt anti-Semitic, neither.
Any op to put out a presser, I guess!

I've been ignorin' Dobbleson in an effort to remove stress from my life. I'll get back in the saddle soon.

Me and a treadmill would be an all-hate relationship. I like to walk, but I also like to get somewhere. I will return to my two-miles a day as soon as the kids are back in school. Thats Wednesday, thank you God!
Well, without looking anything up, I'd say a civil war is one where two or more groups claim legitimacy and fight to defend it, as in the U.S. civil war, and a sectarian war might be where two or more groups, one or more perhaps connected to an established government, fight to assert or establish legitimacy.
Another thought: The Civil War was a fight over law and how to interpret it (the Constitution); a sectarian war is a fight for power.
But that just be my guess.

That would make more sense if you had sectarian violence in your office but you had to fire both of them.
