Big Red Losers
Excuse us while we Oklahomans talk a little inside football.
I am not mean enough to dance in the street over the woes of the ou sooner football team. But, as one who believes a successful football season is when Oklahoma State beats ou (regardless of the outcome of any other game, and I'm serious), I must say I am interested in OSU football for the first time this year.

OU did its own internal investigation and took action by holding the athletes accountable for their actions, even if it meant knocking them down from being the top-ranked football team in the country and hurting their chances at a national championship. That's STILL a winning team in my book.

Took action before the NCAA did. That's admirable/ Doesn't reach the level of honorable, not necessarily - -although I'm not saying it's dishonorable.
And, you must still be in California. In Oklahoma today, it's like the day Tom Landry died in Texas -- for half the state. The rest of us are looking on with pity. :-)
Oh, and the talk is that, since the work that didn't get done didn't get done *last* summer, the NCAA could force ou to forfeit every win last year in which either player played -- which would strip ou of its bowl win.

Isn't that about the same as giving back a questionable donation from Abramhof before you get caught with it? Sort of like our Oklahoma Republican Govenitorial candidate has done?
NCAA don't care if you did it on your own. They will still sanction you the same anyway, and oh by the way it took a year to find this out? Bullshit!
What ever happened to Lance Renscil(sp)and Joe Don Looney? Now they were up-standing fellows from the criminal & cream!

Good Lord I'm tired of hearing this shit on TV, so I turned to CNN and I'll be damned if it weren't on there too. WW III maybe starting and we are crying in our beer about a kid getting some free breast milk from a car dealer and getting canned for it.
