'Horses of Gettysburg"

Woo hoo! Buddy of mine just handed me this from the mail: "Horses of Gettysburg"!

... "captures the relationship between soldiers and their horses during the battle ... and throughout the Civil War."

HORSEBACK MOUNTAIN!

Not!

"... celebrates the honor and courage of the 72,000 horses and mules that fought ..."

I honestly can't wait to see it.

Say what?
Yeah, I'll bet most of those animals died wishing they had more than one life to give to preserve the Union or keep the South Free.
Honor in worms meat, Courage in being an unwitting target, the human imagination knows no bounds.
It is bad enough to glorify that war from the human side, but now you have to make the mules heros.
Loyalty to an owner maybe. Misplaced loyality to an owner that will sacrifice you on the field of battle.
Jeez, how was the tape?

Haven't watched it yet. Been working on some history-type stuff of my own.
