Eight girly reindeer?

According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to mid-December.

Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give birth in the spring.

Therefore, according to EVERY historical rendition depicting Santa's reindeer, EVERY single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen, had to be a girl.
We should've known ... ONLY women would be able to drag a fat-ass man in a red velvet suit all around the world in one night and not get lost.

Comments:
The suspension of dis-belief is essential for Christmas.
Come now, if you believe that a fat little elf who lives at the North Pole can get thousand other elves to make all sorts of toys for him so that he can use a magic sleigh to fly arround the world to deliver toys to all good boys and girls and does it all in a single night albeit a 24 hour night, and for free as well, then why not believe that the magic flying deer can keep their antlers year round.

If you are unable to suspend your dis-belief then consider this. For Santa to accomplish all that he does within one 24 hours period means that he must actually be a Time Lord and be able to suspend time within his Tartus, which in his case is a giant Barber's Pole located somewhere in the Artic. There is no summer winter fall or spring for a Time Lord and so the deer never need to lose their antlers.

I think I have drug a few of
them around myself..we don't
get lost because we will stop
and get directions..What the
heck is up with not stopping
to get directions. I really
thought it was an old wives
tale..But sure enough my husband
will not stop..Hell would
freeze over, our van once blew
a head gasket because he drove
it hot and would not stop for
directions..

I can believe they're all girls, for the same reasons you point out. Not to mention, just how many manly reindeer want to be called Prancer or Vixen?? ;)

It takes all kinds.

Obviously, drlobojo knows more about reindeer than the average bear. ;)

Who says they have antlers?

the pictures we see are just artists renditions and we know from experience thay are not always accurate.
