I'm thinkin' the doghouse oughtta be big enough for ER, should ER get hisself into trouble with the doc.
:-)
:-)
The Right Honorable Riker, Esquire, deserves to reside in an Doggie Ivory Tower, he is so smart! :-)

Ha-HA! I want a short yellow doghouse for Bailey because Bailey, is well, a tard.
Would someone else explain this?

Doesn't sound like you're treating your doggies any too equally. Riker is the "Has," and Bailey is the "Has Not." Not very Democratic of you. ;)
Ha-HA! Frenzied. You might have me!
However, I DO have a certain meritocratic bent.
But when there is trouble, whether it's a lil ol' storm or a hurricane, we bring 'em both in the house, since everyone deserves to expect their government -- in the doggie case, it's me and Dr. ER -- to defend and protect their "general welfare." :-)

LOL--Well, given they're dogs, I guess one couldn't be richer than the other, so I guess intelligence would be the thing to have, or not.
To 'splain...
Short yellow doghouse is a morph of the "short yellow schoolbus" which is a non-politically correct way of referring to the special ed students at a school. Hence, Bailey, the loving, sweet, big-hearted critter that has latched its affections on to E.R., -- well, shall we say just needs a little extra attention.

Now it all makes sense--thanks, Trixie!
I never heard of the short yellow schoolbus. Prolly because we have students in our district that get to ride the short bus (the only ones that are air-conditioned) if they're the only student(s) in an outlying area.
Okay, Bailey can get the short yellow doghouse. For one thing, he's short, when on all fours, at least. For the other thing, he's special!
(And I know you really love him, ER!)

Down home we have this phrase "Yellow Dog Democrat" which means a mindless partisan infighter for truth, justice, and the Oklahoma way. Does this posting betray a secrete desire by ER to aspire to such a title, or is he just harboring a spy in his midst?
Drlobojo,
Let me count the Repubs I have voted for in my life:
1 ...
1.
An acquaintance of mine who was runing unopposed for a district judgeship in Texas. So I could tell himn when I saw him, usually over beer and barbecue at some community function, that he'd gotten my vote.
I am a crad carryin' Yellow Dog, sir. Hell, I voted for the road-and-bridge tax on the way home from work yesterday. I just get a little hawkish from time to time. :-)
