Cindy Sheehan: Unhinged
With "friends" like this, the anti-war-let's-come-home-with-our-tail-between-our-legs bunch needs no enemies!

CINDY UNLEASHED: 'THE BIGGEST TERRORIST IN THE WORLD IS GEORGE W. BUSH'
Wed Aug 17 2005 21:51:56 ET
"We are not waging a war on terror in this country. We’re waging a war of terror. The biggest terrorist in the world is George W. Bush!"
So declared Cindy Sheehan earlier this year during a rally at at San Francisco State University.
Sheehan, who is demanding a second meeting with Bush, stated: "We are waging a nuclear war in Iraq right now. That country is contaminated. It will be contaminated for practically eternity now."
Sheehan unleashed a foul-mouth tirade on April 27, 2005:
"They’re a bunch of fucking hypocrites! And we need to, we just need to rise up..." Sheehan said of the Bush administration.
"If George Bush believes his rhetoric and his bullshit, that this is a war for freedom and democracy, that he is spreading freedom and democracy, does he think every person he kills makes Iraq more free?"
"The whole world is damaged. Our humanity is damaged. If he thinks that it’s so important for Iraq to have a U.S.-imposed sense of freedom and democracy, then he needs to sign up his two little party-animal girls. They need to go this war."
And you aren’t willing to send your own children, or if you’re not willing to go die yourself, then you bring there rest of our kids home now. It is despicable what they’re doing."

She sounds nuts, all right, but that doesn't mean that she didn't say anything in there that I don't agree with. This war is not, in any way, protecting you or me from terrorism, and is costing way too much. Meanwhile here on the homefront, all it's doing is increasing the ever-proliferating growth of the police state we've always been about a hairbreadth's away from.
Do I think that she's there as some sort of political hack-job on the Shrub? Sure; and Gawd bless whoever came up with the idea. The Republicans have been up to far worse in the last twenty years. They've made it into 'any lie will fly', so maybe they've invited in this sort of the-ends-define-the-means sort of shit.
And the war should end. We are there for no reason at all-not even cheaper oil, apparently-and our continued presence there assures nothing more than the death of more Americans.

Bachelor, the primise that this war is about oil is stupid, just like every other conspiracy theory that the Dems and the main stream press has been able to come up with to oppose the war.
If the U.S. wanted oil, we could just claim Kuwait, or Venesuala, or Qatar, or any number of other two bit countries all over the world. And it could be done without even firing a shot.
As far as the WMD argument, if GWB was as evil as you guys believe, he would have sent train car loads of WMD to Iraq for the reporters to observe and admire. there would have been mountains of WMD found in Iraq. There is no way that anyone as bad as you guys believe GWB to be would have handed the Dems anything that big to hit him up side the head with.
THINK!
You can figure this out.
Cindy Sheehan is indeed an idiot. She dishonors her son, and every other soldier who has fought and died for the U.S.
But she is not the real problem. The REAL problem is the Mainstream Media, (You are excepted, ER,)who have rushed to amplify her stupidity.
I have confidence in you.
