Nick, are you bein' facetious? Myself, I do try to be respectful, and this is mostly a free-for-all idea zone. But some of the commenters do get a little mean once in awhile. I do let it go overboard at times, but I think it's important to this little marketplace of ideas to moderate with a light hand.
I like your "voice" and the mix of politics, family, and Okie commentary to be found here--eclectic is good!

(Hey, someone had to say it, right? And I'm noted for that kind of thing....) In return, you are invited to post comments on my blog as well. I managed to reach 6,000 hits today. Sour grapes? Well, people don't fight on my blog so it's pretty clear they prefer to watch the occasional slugfest here. That's OK. It's fun to take a poke at ideas now and then.

I come to laugh. That's it. Occassionally I'll be moved by something, but mostly I just come to laugh.

I like the variety of subjects of conversation. I also like getting into the mix over here. Even though I don't get many hits at my place, I just figure it keeps me from needing to clean house at my place. ;)
