Orange Power

Just one thing on my mind today: Homecoming at Oklahoma State.

Bird, a freshman, is so excited she's been on the verge of peein' on herself all week. Dr. ER and I are headin' up to Stillwater here directly.

O-State Cowboys vs. the Texas A&M Aggies in a homecomin' game at the new-and-improved Boone Pickens Stadium. It don't get much better than that.

Coldbeer at Stables (formerly George's Stables), across the street from Eskimo Joe's -- http://www.okstables.com/ -- hangin' out in old haunts at Bennett Hall, with Bird; just bein' on the beautiful OSU campus in the fall -- that's livin.

The only thing better would be---well, seeing a sea of crimson and cream rising in the stands and hearing the roar of, "Boomer Sooner!" :)

Now, Chrystal, that's a sickening statement to all Aggies, the ones from Texas, the ones in Stillwater and those of us who wear purple and were dang proud of a bad Wildcats team for the way it played today.

And that nasty, nasty, two-word fight song has no place on this redneck blog. :-)

Teditor: Purple? Wildcats? Who? :) Just for the record, I attended classes at OU and OSU. OU just brainwashed me first and as a true OU fan, I'm for anyone who beats Texas. :)

Watched the game last night, what a bummer!! Is Bennett still standing? Keep going and cheer for us that can't make it to the games, GO POKES...
